I've played enough agar.io to know its Irelands fault, they are eating all the GDP, nothing will be left for the rest of us. - Source: Reddit / 14 days ago
We're at the beginning of the end. This is a contagion. Someone will buy them up, kick the can a few months, then the purchaser will become the next domino. It's like agar.io. A circle eats a slightly smaller circle, excpet when it does it's infected. It'll go all the way up the ladder until its the JP Morgans, BofA, and finally the FED. Then we see chaos. - Source: Reddit / 16 days ago
And ya in agar.io you do just slowly drain health and slow way down once you get big. - Source: Reddit / 20 days ago
There are many games like agar.io, and slither.io, that have players battling in a persistent arena where they can snowball to become much more powerful than other players. Although filled with bots, these games can be very addicting as you try to reach #1 on the scoreboard or become the largest in size. - Source: Reddit / 20 days ago
There are a lot of .io games such as agar.io. Maybe Factorio was inspired by this since those games were pretty big at the time? - Source: Reddit / 27 days ago
Well its initial release was in 2016 and there were a lot of .io games (agar.io snake.io) so that's probably where that came from. - Source: Reddit / 27 days ago
Browser based games are huge (often with kids). A lot of of popular games cluster on .io domain names. Shell Shockers has been a big FPS: https://shellshock.io/ And there is a whole genre of multiplayer things eating things to get bigger: https://agar.io/ http://slither.io/. - Source: Hacker News / 28 days ago
Whoop-dee-doo you googled how to create bots... Should we give you a big ol' high-5? Is it newsworthy at this point? You think a agar.io bot will plug in to scenexe.io? Also a bit tit-for-tat. besides, poopoo's dev has clearly stated many times he is not responsible for the bots so who are you really getting back at? - Source: Reddit / 29 days ago
I'm looking to buy a stacked agar.io account for the mobile version (pretty sure its the same as PC in terms of skins, coins, etc) High budget. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
a good example is the the blocks on the agar.io game here. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
If it works with your game mechanics, add a counter-balance where players get stronger in one metric but weaker in another as they earn points. A very simple example of this is agar.io: the larger you get, the slower you are, and you can't touch the green spikes. New players move faster and can leverage the spikes. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
Totally reminds me of things like agar.io and the like. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
In honour of Ashton, during the lunch break people should head to https://agar.io and play a game. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago

I know this is a stupid question, but I'm sitting here trying to navigate the menu to try and get out of the game, but there's no option I can see for "leave game." So my phone is now stuck on agar.io. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago

Games like agar.io and all the other ".io" games, even among us stayed online for two years before becoming viral. I've seen also a lot of people on Reddit show their multiplayer games and permit people to play for free. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
I know about port forwarding, which is not safe. But how do games like agar.io or steam online games work? Why are their connections safe and how can I make a safe online game? (mmo is possible). - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
If you really think about it the only reason why we even still exist on this rock is because no one stronger than us has found us yet. And since we started transmitting radio signals in space for more than fifty years, that might not be the case anymore one day. We're alive because We haven't met our predator yet. It's not because some loving God is protecting us. Play this game a little to understand the... - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
If you are a fan of agar.io, diep.io, and/or other .io games, then you are basically my target audience! But either way, please dm or comment on this post and I will reach out to discuss your time zone organize this play testing session. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
In my opinion the whole thing feels like it is halfway to being the next agar.io. Once accounts, friends, and chat are introduced, you know it is only a matter of time before other accounts-only features begin to show up, but this time affecting gameplay more. It doesn't seem like addicting games has any plans to make real game updates; in fact I doubt that they even have the programming knowledge to do so. Sure... - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
